Our mission was to support DBS’ expansion in personal mortgage loans by building a mobile application to make property searching and mortgage assessments not only convenient, but also exciting.
We have focused on delivering an intuitive and one-stop experience. With VR and 360° picture integration, customers can use our app to take virtual tours of properties they are interested in. Once users have shortlisted a property, estimates of monthly mortgage payments are calculated instantaneously, and users can evaluate their mortgage affordability with DBS within minutes. The process of working closely with DBS has enabled us to achieve results on a tight deadline, and we conducted a week long design sprint in order to lay out wireframes and to craft a cohesive user experience. We have also incorporated the financial formulae from the regulatory requirements in our app to provide automated loan calculations, and have pushed out weekly app updates based on thorough user testing.
